PC Administrator

This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Assistant Director of IT and is located on the JWCC campus in Quincy, Illinois.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for building, installing, modifying, diagnosing, and repairing end-user computer hardware for classrooms and offices. Responsible for resolving support incidents for end-users. Other duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Assists with the deployment of the JWCC computer rotation cycle and end user support for PC issues.
• Responsible for the physical maintenance and troubleshooting of printers and multi-function peripherals.
• Coordinates the recycling of electronic waste.
• Supports Audio Visual Services, including assistance with Auditorium activities and functions (e.g., internal and external events).

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's degree or equivalent experience and/or appropriate credential recommended. Two to four years of related experience preferred. Also requires CompTIA A+ Certified Professional or equivalent within 12 months of appointment. Experience in customer services/telecommunications and a knowledge of computer software is preferred.

SALARY

Salary range begins at no less than $17.00 per hour.
